Where are we now and what next?
- Our new senior managers are all in post and we have migrated to the new organisational structure
- We have recruited a speech and language therapist with relevant experience to the post of Policy Officer for England
- We have identified new roles in the Professional Development team for SLTs with the right skills to get involved and further increase HQ representation from the profession
- We're developing strategic approaches for each of the different areas of work, eg enhancing the communications strategy
- We're continuing to provide guidance and support for staff to help them through the changes.
What next?
The RCSLT Council has reviewed the governance structure of the organisation.We have introduced new Boards to provide effective governance for the new functions.
The new Boards are as follows:
- Finance and Organisational Resources Board
- Management Board
- Membership and Information Board
- Policy and Partnerships Board
- Professional Development and Standards Board
