RCSLT welfare fund

RCSLT members can apply to the RCSLT for financial assistance should they need help

This was set out in the original articles and memorandum of the College and is contained in the current articles and memorandum (RCSLT Memorandum 3g).

Initially, the money granted came from the College's main funds. The College established a separate welfare fund in 1995.

You can receive assistance, normally up to £500, for things such as specialist medical equipment, probably in conjunction with other charitable funds; special clothing; and one-off expenditure, not available through state funding.
