The economic case for speech and language therapy
This simple slideshow lists the seven signs of speech, language and communication difficulties. Use this at local events or ask your local GP surgery, clinic or even school reception to display it. Several SLTs have already successfully made this happen! You can now order a booklet version of this presentation.
Communication Accessible consent form
If you are working with colleagues, service users or any member of the public to record video clips or photograph them for Giving Voice, it is essential that you seek their consent. Your employer is likely to have their own form, which you should use in the professional context. You might also find it helpful to view and adapt the RCSLT communication accessible consent form.
Reporting activities survey
Tell us how it’s going! We’re relying on our Giving Voice champions across the UK to keep us up to date on your exciting local campaigning activities. Please use this simple survey to tell us every time you undertake and complete a Giving Voice initiative. It’s vital that the RCSLT can build an accurate picture of how everybody’s local campaigns are contributing to the UK-wide effort to raise the profile of the profession.
