Clinical engagement events

The NHS North West has arranged two new Primary Care engagement events to offer you the opportunity to find out more about how the National Programme for IT can support you in delivering patient care.

Hosted by Dr Amir Hannan, PCT Clinical Lead for NHS North West and a GP in Hyde, the events feature presentations from:

• Dr Andrew Coley, Chief Clinical Officer for NHS North West
• Dr Julie McMillen, a GP in Bolton whose practice is an early adopter of the NHS Summary Care Record
• Workshops on Choose and Book, the Map of Medicine, the Electronic Prescription Service and the NHS Care Records Service in a community setting.
  

You are invited to attend one of the two events each running with the same agenda as attached.

The events:
8 May, Holiday Inn, Runcorn 12.30pm - 4.30pm (lunch provided)
15 May, Ribby Hall Village, Nr. Preston 6pm - 10pm (supper provided)
