This exciting event offered an interesting and interactive series of professional workshops and presentations and tell you more about the role of your professional body.
It focussed on some of the great opportunities a career in speech and language therapy can offer, as well as recent therapy approaches currently being researched and undertaken by practising SLTs.
Delegates also got the chance to meet and network with other SLT students from across the UK and senior staff and representatives from the RCSLT.
Sessions included:
- Interactive workshops on current 'hot topics' within the profession
- A newly-qualified SLT sharing experiences on the transition from student to newly-qualified practitioner
- A speech and language therapy manager presenting interview tips and what managers look for when recruiting SLTs
