Exploring the role of speech and language therapy for older children and young people
2 December 2008
Novotel London City South, 53-61 Southwark Bridge Road, London, SE1 9HH
This exciting and innovative event provided delegates with the chance to join and launch SIG for SLTs working with older children and young people.
The Bercow Report (July 08) identified a gap in services for older children and there is currently no national SIG in this clinical area. This event addressed this issue and brought together experts from related fields, providing delegates with the opportunity to:
- share best practice and information
- identify ways to improve the service and identify key influencers
- learn about current Government policy, which will help with improving influencing skills
- network with fellow professionals to enhance awareness and raise the profile of SLTs in this area.
Full details can be found on the agenda.
Call for papers
