Context and rationale
In the current financial climate there will be increased pressure on the SLT workforce to demonstrate flexibility and innovation in practice, demonstrate value for money and identify how new ways of working can release cash into the system.
At the 2010 AGM and study day, the RCSLT will feature case studies from services that have successfully improved outcomes for service users in addition to demonstrating cost efficiencies. The study day is aimed at practitioners and budget holders.
There will be a review process of the case studies submitted and those submissions felt to most closely reflect the theme will be invited to present at the event. RCSLT officers together with RCSLT Trustees will review the submissions.
This will be your chance to share your work with your colleagues from across the UK.
Through sharing ideas, resources and new information it is hoped that delegates will disseminate this learning and apply it within their local context.

How to apply
Please download and complete the effectiveness and efficiency case study submission form and return it to Sharon Woolf.
Deadline for submissions is midday on Thursday 25th March 2010. Applicants will be notified in April if their submissions have been successful.
Please note:
Successful applicants must submit details of who will be supporting their presentation. Presenters will still need to register as a delegate.
In certain circumstances travel expenses may be claimed, terms and conditions apply. Information regarding this will be sent to the successful applicants.
