Scientific Conference 2009 Minor Grants
RCSLT minor grants will be made available to registered members. To apply for a minor grant for the RCSLT Scientific Conference in 2009 your minor grant application must reach the RCSLT by 5pm on Monday 1st December 2008. You must submit 3 copies of your minor grant application form, which can be downloaded from the RCSLT web pages. You are also advised to read the notes on minor grant applications to check that you are eligible to apply.
Minor grant applications for the Scientific Conference will be considered by the grants panel after the deadline and we will advise applicants if they have been successful by mid-December 2008. Minor grants for other conference will be considered on different dates which are detailed on the RCSLT web pages.
Please note that minor grants will not be paid to applicants prior to the conference. The terms of awarding minor grants are that successful applicants must submit receipts and a reflective report on the conference before minor grants can be paid; this means that even if you apply for a minor grant you will still need to pay for the conference in full and then claim the grant back after the event. Minor grant applicants are also advised that it is extremely rare for the RCSLT to be able to support requests for travel and accommodation expenses and requests for backfill payments will not be considered.
