Sink or Swim: A Guide for SLTs to navigate through troubled waters

5 November 2009
Stormont Hotel, 587 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast BT4 3LP

This RCSLT policy event invited RCSLT members from Ireland to enhance their understanding of the political machine and how to influence policy development at a local and national level.

The event featured the inspirational Baroness May Blood as keynote speaker, a champion in developing children's services in Northern Ireland. In addition, several MLAs participated in a "surgery" session, explaining their role in government and how they work for us.

Twenty-five delegates also had the opportunity to take part in tour of the Northern Ireland Assembly before the day began.

For full details please see the day's agenda.
