This year’s exciting programmes offer a range of interactive presentations to help speech and language therapy students prepare for a rich and diverse career. Delegates will hear from speech and language therapists who have used their qualification to move into a range of areas: research, political campaigning, independent practice, public health, the criminal justice sector and becoming an entrepreneur. Students will also have the opportunity to learn more about how working with service users and their families can help to enhance service delivery, leaving with practical ideas and resources to help with this in practise.

Delegates will be able to learn more about their professional body and meet staff and council members from the RCSLT, as well as meeting and networking with other students from across the UK. The afternoon will see newly qualified SLTs share their experience of life after graduation, followed by an essential guide to finding your first job, with application and interview tips, and a chance to quiz SLT managers. Don’t miss your chance to get a head start!
