Working in partnership with the RCSLT in Wales

This RCSLT meeting took place as one part of Communication Counts, a partnership day designed to provide information about services available for children with speech, language and communication difficulties in North Wales. In addition to workshops and seminars for children, parents and other professionals, there were 40 exhibits in the Main Hall. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear about some of the services offered for children with speech language and communication difficulties in North Wales by Betsi Cadwaladr University LHB.
The aims of the RCSLT in Wales session were:
- To inform members in Wales about structures, processes and developments at RCSLT and plans for the Wales Board
- To inform members about current Policy and Partnership work in Wales
- To work with members to develop a template for regional networks to support communication between members, Wales Board and RCSLT
- To consult with members about how the RCSLT’s CPD strategy will be implemented in Wales
