Representative required for the British Academy of Childhood Disability Committee

The RSCLT is looking for a new representative to sit on the British Academy of Childhood Disability committee. This committee is based at Royal College of Paediatrics and considers the needs of children with neurodevelopmental disorders across the whole range. A representative would provide expert advice from the SLT perspective and feed back to RCSLT on any important discussions and plans.

The committee meets approximately four times a year in London (expenses can be paid) and considers national policies and their expected effect on this population of children.  This is an excellent multi-disciplinary group.

View the British Academy of Childhood Disability committee website.

If you would like to be considered for this role, please send details of your current role and past experiences - particularly with this group of children, working in an MDT and sitting on advisory committees - to Sarah Keegan (Policy Officer).
