National Student Day 2008
25 March
City University London
Northampton Square EC1V 0HBThis exciting event offered an interesting and interactive series of
professional workshops and presentations and told you more about the
role of the RCSLT.
It focused on some of the great opportunities a career in speech and language therapy can offer, as well as recent therapy approaches currently being researched and undertaken by practising SLTs.
Delegates had the chance to meet and network with other SLT students from across the UK and senior staff and representatives from the RCSLT.
Lunch and refreshments included.
Sessions included:
- interactive workshops on current 'hot topics' within the profession
- a newly-qualified SLT, sharing her experiences on the transition from student to newly-qualified practitioner
