Service Specification
Commissioners and others need to know about what your service does. Many aspects of speech and language therapy and SLT services are poorly understood by commissioners; even some senior NHS managers, SHAs and others who may have some influence on the funding of your services understand speech and language therapy poorly. You and your team will need to do more to explain these things to them.
Their headline questions will be:

What are we getting for "our" money?
- How will you help us to deliver against our priorities?
- How will you help us to achieve financial balance?
