• Whole systems activity which cannot be attributed to an identified individual or group of clients but are targeted at improving practice within the clinical area and generalisation or sharing of good practice (e.g. whole nursery / schools work / dysphagia management programmes for nurse practitioners).
• Continuing professional development
• Student related activity e.g. time your service dedicates to supporting students on placements etc.
• Organisational development - demands made upon clinicians time by the employing organisation, e.g. on projects, work streams etc.
