The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is looking to hire a Project Coordinator to work within the dynamic Professional Guidance team.

This role would suit someone with experience of managing projects, an eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure and re-prioritise a varied portfolio of projects and tasks as required. Experience of working with expert working groups, where consultation and collaboration with a variety of stakeholder groups are key features, would be ideal.

About the role

Your role will largely focus on the development and update of professional guidance and resources. This information is aimed at a range of audiences and ranges from clinical guidelines, guidance for individual professionals and guidance to promote high quality service delivery.

You will be responsible for scoping, planning and managing a portfolio of RCSLT led projects, working with experts from across the UK, within and outside of the speech and language therapy profession.

You will also be responsible for facilitating RCSLT involvement in the development of guidance and resources produced by external organisations, for example by working with expert members to coordinate RCSLT responses to consultations and endorsement requests.

  • Full time: 35 hours per week
  • Fixed term contract for 6 months (with the possibility of extension)
