Enquiries Coordinator

Are you keen to make a difference to people’s lives? We provide guidance and advice to the diverse and passionate profession of speech and language therapists. Our members reach out to us when they need to talk to someone who will help them find and use the most effective resources quickly, or guide them towards the best people and communities to engage with.

We are currently seeking an Enquiries Coordinator to provide guidance to our innovative and passionate members, and to help inform new resources. In this role you’ll be able to put your analytical and interpersonal skills to work in a fun and rewarding environment, as well as have a say in the development of new guidance and resources to support members.

The Enquiries Coordinator is an essential part of our organisation, acting as the first point of contact for our members by telephone, email and online. Working closely with another coordinator, you will be responsible for providing a professional information and enquiry handling service.

You should have experience in delivering excellent customer service; engaging and supporting online communities; researching information using multiple data sources; and, ideally, experience working within a comparable business (higher education, healthcare, or professional, regulatory or membership body).

Outcomes Informatics Officer

The RCSLT Outcomes workstream was initiated as part of the RCSLT’s response to strengthening the profession in the face of increased austerity measures across public sector services and commissioning (or procurement) of services against national, regional, and local level outcomes, as well as to promote the use of outcome measurement across the SLT profession to support provision of high quality services to service users. This now also encompasses the work on broader health informatics workstreams and data collection.

We are now seeking to recruit an Outcomes and Informatics Officer to support the SLT profession in relation to the areas of outcomes and health informatics, including the co-ordination of the development and potential rollout of the RCSLT outcome online tool (ROOT).

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is the professional body for speech and language therapists across the UK.  The RCSLT has over 17,000 members and employs around 35 staff predominately based in a London office.  The RCSLT also has offices in Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff.

  • Full-time: 35 hours per week
  • Salary:  £33,932 - £35,650
  • Closing date:  9am on Monday 2 October
  • Interview date:  TBC
