Aims and Objectives
This one day event was jointly planned by retired Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.
It aimed to give retired members, and members approaching retirement, the opportunity to:
- Network with inter-professional colleagues
- Discuss and share effective ways of adapting to lifestyle change in retirement
- Consider financial planning issues related to the transition out of employment
- Become aware of organisations offering interesting new experiences
- Understand there are as many ways to approach retirement as there are retirees
