12-1.30pm
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an excellent opportunity for members to see what is going on behind the scenes at the RCSLT and to have your say on important decisions being made.
Our 2022 AGM agenda includes:
- Approving the new trustees for our most diverse Board yet
- Welcoming Dr Sean Pert as our new chair and say thank you and farewell to outgoing chair Mary Heritage
- An overview of the work achieved over the past year in policy, finance, communications and learning.
The RCSLT AGM is open to RCSLT members although only full members (Certified Members, Newly Qualified Members, Overseas Qualified Members, Non-Practising Members, Returners to Practice, Retired Members, and Student Members) are able to vote.
All new appointments as well as the appointment of trustees for a second term of office are to be approved by members via a vote at the AGM.
At the AGM in November 2021, in line with our commitment to increasing diversity in RCSLT’s leadership and governance structures, members voted to change the way we select Board and Committee members. Find out more about the board recruitment process.
