Language disorder associated with hearing impairment: agreeing and discussing the implications of a new diagnostic label
Following the updated terminology from SLI to DLD (Dorothy Bishop/Susan Ebbels) this group is taking the opportunity to bring specialists in deafness and/or DLD together for an online forum. This is in order to discuss terminology for deaf children and young people with speech language and communication needs and its implications for provision.
We welcome anyone who has specialism in either area (DLD/Deafness) to join us for a morning and contribute to this session.
We aim to provide feedback to RCSLT based on these discussions.
