Join us for a three hour CPD session focussing on how to support clients to engage with social media during speech and language therapy. We are lucky to have two fantastic speakers:

• Dr Melissa Brunner, SLT researcher,  will join us from Australia to discuss her research paper “Rehabilitation Professionals’ views on Social Media Use in TBI rehabilitation: gatekeepers to participation”.
• Dr Rachel Botell, Rehabilitation medicine consultant at Mardon Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre, will be presenting a case study of a teenager with TBI navigating social media during rehabilitation.

There will also be a whole meeting discussion about existing social media policies and guidelines in relation to speech and language therapy. We will be providing examples. Please feel free to bring your own trusts’ guidance also.
