The aim of this project is to create RCSLT guidance and resources for paediatric laryngology and highlight the role of speech and language therapy. LEAD AUTHOR APPLICANTS SUPPORTING STATEMENT (max. 350 words)   – please provide any additional information that is relevant to your application below. Where possible, demonstrate the following:  awareness and knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusion,  excellent writing and editing skills, including experience of writing web-based, guidance/resources, and ability to summarise complex information,   experience of scoping and planning projects,  good stakeholder management skills, including ability to chair and facilitate working groups/workshops,  research skills eg. undertaking reviews and analysis of evidence base.

WRITING EXERCISE (max. 250 words) – to be completed by LEAD AUTHOR applicants only.    Draft a brief overview of paediatric laryngology for web content aimed at the general public (using plain English). You should explain what paediatric laryngology is, the relevance of speech and language therapy and potential benefits for service-users.    This exercise is aimed at demonstrating your writing style rather than testing your knowledge. Do not worry too much about the accuracy/content of what you write. Only a brief overview is required – you may choose to present the information in bullet-point format.
