Your views on access to speech and language therapy
The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists wants to find out how the COVID-19 pandemic and the UK-wide lockdown (March-June 2020) has affected people’s access to speech and language therapy.
We’ve designed a survey to help us understand the issue better and plan to use the results to make the case for more speech and language therapy support.
If you, your loved ones, or the people you work with, care for and support access speech and language therapy services then we encourage you to complete the survey
The survey is available in a range of formats, below.
Please fill out the version that is best for you or those you work with and help.
Paper copies are available and can be requested by emailing peter.just@rcslt.org or padraigin.oflynn@rcslt.org
Peter and Padraigin can also give you any further information or support.
The closing date for the survey has been extended to 5pm on Friday, 5 February 2021 following feedback from service user organisations.
Although the Word & PDF versions of the survey below have a closing date of Friday, 8 January, submissions will be accepted to 5 February.
Thank you for taking part. Your answers will help us to fight for better access to speech and language therapy services for all. We really appreciate your support

The survey can also be accessed via this QR code. If you are a speech and language therapist, you could share this with patients at consultations so they can easily access online once at home.
