Professor Linda Worrall

Professor Linda Worrall is director of the Centre for Clinical Research Excellence in Aphasia Rehabilitation, co-director of the Communication Disability Centre and postgraduate coordinator at The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia

Linda completed her undergraduate degree in speech pathology at The University of Queensland and her PhD in the Stroke Research Unit in Nottingham. She has practiced as a speech pathologist both in Australia and the UK and founded the Australian Aphasia Association, the consumer-led organisation, in 2000.

Linda has published over 200 peer reviewed journal articles, 23 book chapters, and five books; graduated 20 PhD candidates (with a further 13 in progress) and has had continuous nationally competitive research funding  during her academic career.
