Improving quality in speech and language therapy: Everyone’s business
This year’s event will explore Improving quality in speech and language therapy: Everyone’s business and will showcase the latest in research and service delivery innovations.
This two-day event will feature oral and poster presentations, workshops, parallel and plenary sessions and keynote speakers with topics covering a wide range of adult and child specialisms. The popular `brag and steal’ presentations will be back, highlighting how research evidence is being applied in clinical practice.
Whether you work in research, are a clinical practitioner, or just starting out in your career as an SLT, the RCSLT Conference 2019 will include something for you!
We are delighted to announce the detailed programme for the RCSLT Conference 2019. For more information, please see:

The RCSLT was generously left £5000 by the family of Penny Harrison, a speech and language therapist. Part of this fund has been allocated to subsidise the delegate fee for RCSLT student/newly qualified practitioner/assistant practitioner members attending the RCSLT Conference 2019.
Penny worked closely with the RCSLT over many years: had been involved on projects with assistants; carried out service reviews on behalf of the RCSLT and attended Council as Chair of TASLTM.
RCSLT student/newly qualified practitioner/assistant practitioner members are invited to apply for a subsidy for their RCSLT Conference 2019 delegate fee, from the Penny Harrison Memorial Fund:
Please note that it is recommended that you apply early, as the number of subsidised places is strictly limited. The above rates correspond with the booking rates from 1 August 2019
