Feedback for RCSLT on approaches to evidence-based practice

Step 1 of 6

About this survey

At the RCSLT we are reviewing our recommendations regarding evidence-based practice. As part of this review we are keen to learn from the approaches taken by other organisations, and in other professions. As such, we would like to invite you to complete this mini-survey to help us understand the recommendations from your organisation (for professional body representatives), or within your profession more broadly (if you are not a professional body rep).

PLEASE NOTE: This survey is not designed for RCSLT members, feedback on this project will be collected from members via a different survey.

All questions are optional and your response is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time prior to analysis. To enable this, we need to gather your personal data (name, organisation, and email address). This information will be securely stored at the RCSLT alongside your responses in the Gravity software used to administer the survey. Personal information will not be shared outside the project team at the RCSLT. We will ask if you would like to be credited in any project outputs. The personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with our privacy notice (see below).

For analysis, responses will be anonymised and will be completely separated from your personal data. Ethical approval is being sought so that we can use anonymised quotes and summary data in RCSLT executive reports and academic outputs. To aid in analysis, anonymised responses will be entered into the Microsoft Co-Pilot AI tool. This is used as part of the RCSLT subscription to Microsoft Enterprise, so data is stored locally on RCSLT servers. No data is uploaded to cloud based software or submitted to train AI models.

We will keep your data for five years following completion of our project. Your data will then be deleted. For more information about how RCSLT manages data, please see the full Privacy Notice on the RCSLT website: RCSLT privacy notice

If you have any questions about the project overall or this mini-survey, please contact amit.kulkarni@rcslt.org or sarah.lambert@rcslt.org

Thank you very much in advance for your time and support.
