The RCSLT is committed to supporting the development of new research and evidence-based approaches to therapy, and can share approved research recruitment opportunities with our members. Since we receive a high volume of requests, and can only disseminate a limited number of these, we ask that you use this form to submit your request to our internal review panel. Applications are reviewed on a weekly basis, but please allow sufficient time before any closing dates for the panel to consider your request.

RCSLT cannot act as formal ‘gatekeepers’ for research recruitment opportunities and should not be approached in this way. RCSLT should not be named on ethics applications. The dissemination of a research recruitment opportunity by RCSLT is not evidence of the RCSLT endorsing or approving the project. By completing this form, you are consenting to your data being appropriately stored, processed and deleted by the RCSLT, as outlined in our Privacy Notice.

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of requests RCSLT receives from students, the review panel are unable to accept applications for undergraduate research recruitment opportunities. Student members are therefore unable to progress with this form, but are encouraged to consider sharing their opportunity via relevant Clinical Excellence Networks (CENS), Professional Networks and/or Research Networks.

Please note that since we are a membership organisation, our primary audience is Speech and Language Therapists, not service users and/or their families. If you are a member, and are looking to recruit people with lived experience, please consider using our CEN Directory to reach SLTs who may be able to share your opportunity with their clinical contacts.
