The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is the professional body representing the interests of approximately 15,000 Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) across the UK and an estimated 2.5 million people who have communication and swallowing support needs.

We are seeking to employ a publications officer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your editorial and writing skills while working on a national monthly membership magazine and other print and web-based projects. You will have editorial experience and be able to show your ability to produce accurate, clear, lively and concise written copy. You will also have experience of developing publications, preferably in the health/education field.
Part time (21 hours per week)
Salary: £32,289 (including LW) pro rata

EVENTS AND MARKETING ASSISTANT
We are seeking an Events and Marketing Assistant - to support the management of UK-wide events. The Events and Marketing team is responsible for providing the lead on event management for the RCSLT, including design, delivery and marketing of a directly managed portfolio of events and providing expert guidance and support to other teams across the UK, in relation to their own events. These range from 1-2 day conferences with exhibitions, receptions, round tables, workshops and award ceremonies and are aimed at a variety of audiences.
The role also includes supporting the business development and operational activities relating to the hire of the meeting and conference facilities at the RCSLT’s London office. This role is extremely varied and often fast paced. The ideal candidate will have experience of conference and events organisation or working in a venue or in a customer focused position.
Full time (35 hours per week)
Salary: £26,501 (including LW)
