Research and Resources Manager

Grade 3/4: £31,656 – £36,711 (depending on experience)
Short-term, initial period of 6 months, 35 hours per week
Based at the RCSLT’s London Bridge office for at least one day a week

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists is seeking to recruit a Research and Resources Manager primarily to coordinate the development of shared learning and research networks among the UK-wide speech and language therapy community, and lead on specific areas of review and development of professional development resources. 

You will be a qualified speech and language therapist or other allied health professional with at least 3 years’ post qualification/registration experience within a relevant field (eg, clinical practice in different sectors, research, learning and development, quality standards); proven project management skills; and a thorough understanding of clinical research and audit. The post will involve UK and possibly European travel.

e-Learning Development Manager

Grade 4: Salary £36,711
Short-term, initial period of 6 months, 35 hours per week
Based at the RCSLT’s London Bridge office

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists is seeking to recruit an e-Learning Development Manager to take lead responsibility for a portfolio of e-learning products. Current priorities include refreshing existing e-learning resources to support the professional development of speech and language therapists, piloting new resources in line with emerging needs and establishing monthly webinars.

You will have excellent project management skills, knowledge of e-learning (design, applications and delivery mechanisms); experience of designing and delivering ‘rapid’ learning and development programmes; a relevant professional background within the education and learning fi eld; and demonstrable knowledge of e-learning development software, web applications and app development.
