PUBLICATIONS OFFICER

We are seeking to employ a publications officer. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your editorial and writing skills while working on a national monthly membership magazine and other print and web-based projects. You will have editorial experience and be able to show your ability to produce accurate, clear, lively and concise written copy. You will also have experience of developing publications, preferably in the health/education field. 

Part time (21 hours per week)
Salary: £32,289 (including LW) pro rata

EVENTS AND MARKETING ASSISTANT

We are seeking an Events and Marketing Assistant - to support the management of UK-wide events.  The Events and Marketing team is responsible for providing the lead on event management for the RCSLT, including design, delivery and marketing of a directly managed portfolio of events and providing expert guidance and support to other teams across the UK, in relation to their own events.  These range from 1-2 day conferences with exhibitions, receptions, round tables, workshops and award ceremonies and are aimed at a variety of audiences.

The role also includes supporting the business development and operational activities relating to the hire of the meeting and conference facilities at the RCSLT’s London office.  This role is extremely varied and often fast paced. The ideal candidate will have experience of conference and events organisation or working in a venue or in a customer focused position.

Full time (35 hours per week)
Salary: £26,501 (including LW)

PROJECT COORDINATOR
 
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic organisation who can help us increase our positive impact by delivering high quality, often innovative, projects that will support our members in their professional lives.  You will be required to successfully manage a portfolio of projects taking ownership of project deliverables, producing and updating project plans, organising and facilitating meetings, monitoring and reporting progress.

FINANCE AND MEMBERSHIP INCOME ASSISTANT
 
We are seeking a Finance and Membership Income Assistant. The postholder will be responsible for processing payments and receipts for the College and its trading subsidiary, as well as supporting the finance manager in the operation of the finance department.  The postholder will also provide support to the membership manager in processing direct debit collections and reconciling membership income.
 
The postholder will need to be AAT qualified or similar, with relevant experience of working within a finance environment.  They should have an organised and methodical approach to work, an ability to cope with pressures and setbacks and should be able to use their expertise and technical skills to analyse day to day problems and present practical solutions.  They will be required to work with colleagues, members, customers and suppliers and will need to have a pleasant and professional manner in all communications.
 
Full time (35 hours per week)

WEB DEVELOPER

CORPORATE SERVICES OFFICER
 
We are seeking a Corporate Services Officer.  This is a multi-faceted mid-grade role encompassing information management, first line IT support, office equipment, daily management of the buildings and domestic services, reception, security, Health and Safety and assisting with contracts administration.  This role is extremely varied and often fast paced.  Reporting to the Director of Performance and Contracts, the candidate will have practical experience of the above, be decisive, be able to work on their own initiative, plan, organise, analyse and research; a self-starter who produces results, with an approachable personality and excellent customer relations skills.

We are seeking a Receptionist.  Reporting to the Corporate Services Officer, he/she will need to present a smart, professional and welcoming face to our visitors, as befits a Royal College.  The successful candidate will be highly organised, good at making and maintaining contacts, be IT literate, able to follow and apply procedures and be highly articulate both verbally and in the written word.

ENQUIRIES COORDINATOR
 
We are seeking an Enquiries Coordinator, who is passionate about the importance of delivering a world-class customer service experience and who can take a key role in helping us to establish an enquiry service that is able to provide consistent, high quality and timely responses to our members and other stakeholders. You will be the key contact for responding to most complex and sensitive professional enquiries, using other staff and specialist networks as necessary to deliver accurate and consistent responses. You will also have responsibility for supporting and maintaining two of our valuable expert contact networks - our expert advisers and our clinical excellence networks. 

This brand new post at the RCSLT will also provide you with an exciting opportunity to shape and inform the IT systems, standards, policies and procedures for handling enquiries with support from staff across the organisation.

RESEARCH MANAGER
 
We are seeking a professional Research Manager who is passionate about progressing evidence based practice and research development within the speech & language therapy profession.  As part of a dynamic team at RCSLT, you will be expected to scope, and oversee the delivery and evaluation of RCSLT research related development projects across the UK. You will facilitate innovative ideas for how the RCSLT can support the SLT profession to engage with research related challenges and opportunities.
