We’re excited to share the full programme for RCSLT Conference 2025: 80 Years and Beyond, taking place online on 26–27 November. The early bird rate has been extended to 31 October, so book your ticket now to save.
Our flagship event brings together speech and language therapists and stakeholders from across the profession for two days of inspiring content, from clinically focused research and early career insights to system-level thinking and strategic discussions.
The programme includes an exciting line-up of keynote speakers:
- James Benson, CEO of Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust, opens the Conference with insights for future leaders
- William Roberts, Chief Executive of the Royal Society for Public Health, explores tackling inequalities and shaping public health
- Jois Stansfield, Emeritus Professor and PhD student of History, celebrates 80 years of the profession through archival materials and oral histories.
- Professor Beverley Harden, Deputy Chief Allied Health Professions Officer for England, highlights career development and innovation for allied health professionals
- NHS GP and Author, Dr Radha Modgil demonstrates the power of everyday language on wellbeing
While our new impact and innovation sessions will showcase emerging priorities and creative approaches, covering topics such as service redesign, SEND reform, co-production, advanced practice, AI, equity, diversity and belonging, and early language support. These complement the previously published scientific programme, which features 24 sessions, 62 presentations, and 70 posters spanning the profession. This year’s Annual General Meeting will also take place during Conference, giving members a behind-the-scenes look at RCSLT and the chance to have a say on important decisions.
