Have your say on our updated guidance to support you on meeting the HCPC standards. The consultation will be open until noon on Monday 14 July 2025.
We’re updating our guidance on meeting the HCPC guidance and using them to inform decision making and best practice decisions. This update is being made to make sure all RCSLT guidance aligns with the HCPC’s Standards of proficiency published 2023 and their new standards of conduct, performance and ethics, which came into effect in September 2024.
What updates and changes have been made?
Some key changes made by the HCPC which will be covered by our new guidance include promoting public health and leadership and a focus on equity and inclusion.
Our new guidance links individual HCPC standards to related resources such as our professional development scenarios, relevant clinical guidance, our delivering quality services guidance and external guidance from other organisations: making it easier to see where to find more relevant information.
How can I give feedback?
