We are deeply disappointed that the HCPC have decided to proceed with such a significant increase in fees during a period of unprecedented financial uncertainty and a cost of living crisis.
Along with other Allied Health Professional (AHP) organisations, we raised concerns about HCPC’s performance and offered to work with them to find solutions to provide more cost-efficient regulatory services for our members and other AHPs. As a member of the AHPF, we also wrote to the government outlining our concerns.
It seems HCPC are determined to pass the costs of their inefficiencies onto hard working allied health professionals.
We will be writing to the government again and we hope they recognise the injustice in such an egregious fee increase and deny legislative approval.
