The new CEN directory and supporting information for people joining or running a Clinical Excellence Network will help increase networking and CPD opportunities for our members
At the RCSLT, we know how important it is for our members to have opportunities to make connections and continue their professional development through working with others. Clinical Excellence Networks (CENs) are groups that allow you to do just that. Independently run groups which have a collaborative relationship with the RCSLT, we recognise the unique role of CENs in driving the profession forward.
We’ve been updating our list of registered CENs and have created a new directory to help you search for a CEN that’s right for you. Filterable by region, clinical area, client group and the format of delivery, with just a few taps or clicks, you can easily see a list of CENs that are relevant for you and your career.
With more than 80 CENs already registered, it’s likely you’ll find a CEN which matches your specialism in your area. However, if you’ve noticed a gap or can’t find a CEN which covers the specifics of your role, you might want to consider creating one as a new space to network and share learning with other clinicians.
If you are considering starting a new CEN, you can use our new Guidance pack, which has been made to help support anyone who is currently running or is thinking of running a CEN in future. The pack lays out the responsibilities and best practises for running a network as well as acting as a guideline for what CEN members can expect from their CEN.
You can find out more about what CENs offer , how to join and how the RCSLT supports registered CENs including resources you can access to help you to set up and run a CEN on our website.
