Following the completion of her PhD in Welsh language policy and planning at Cardiff University, Caroline has pursued a career in policy and public affairs in Wales. She has held policy roles at Big Lottery Fund Wales and Macmillan Cancer Support, where she was strategic Lead for Cancer Patient Information on secondment to Public Health Wales.
Caroline began working at the RCSLT in November 2015 as Wales Policy Adviser and became External Affairs Manager (Wales) in 2021. In this role, Caroline leads on the development and day to day management of the RCSLT policy and public affairs strategy in the Welsh Parliament and Welsh Government. Caroline became the first chair of the Allied Health Professions Federation Cymru in December 2024.
Caroline will be moving on from RCSLT in June 2026 to take on a new role as Head of Wales at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
