RCSLT are launching RCSLT Connect – a series of in-person events taking place across the UK to bring members together to form connections and hear from the RCSLT.
RCSLT Connect are free in-person events for members to come together for a day of learning, development and networking. The events will be hosted in every country: Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland and will be tailored to suit the interests and needs of our members in each area. Each event will include sessions and workshops which equip members with practical tools they can put into practice after the event.
Building on previous Hub events in the regions we are keen to provide an opportunity for all members to connect with other SLTs in their localities, hear essential policy updates, and further develop their practice. You will also be able to meet staff from across the RCSLT who will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
We will be kicking off with RCSLT Connect Wales 2024: One Wales, One Profession on 12 June 2024 at Metrople Hotel Venue and Spa in Llandrindiod Wells. The event offers opportunities to share and learn from best practice, receive updates on RCSLT projects, contribute to initiatives, and network with fellow SLT colleagues. Members based in Wales can find out more and register for the event.
Later in the year we will have:
- RCSLT Connect Scotland on 17 September 2024 at Perth Theatre and Concert Hall.
- RCSLT Connect England on 17 October 2024 in the north of England. Let us know if you would like to attend by completing our expressions of interest form by Friday 10 May. This will help us to finalise the plans for this event and confirm the venue.
- RCSLT Connect Northern Ireland on 21 November 2024 at Lisburn Civic Centre.
