This year’s annual lecture of the International Journal of Language & Communication Disorders (IJLCD) will focus on cognitive communication disorders (CCD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) and will be beneficial for SLTs and students.

Aims:
- Provide an overview of recent evidence in the area of cognitive-communication disorders in traumatic brain injury (TBI)
- Discuss issues related to cognitive-communication disorders after TBI and the use of social media
- Describe evidence-based interventions for communication partner training after TBI, including the use of telehealth and digital health
Objectives:
Attendees will be able to:
- Identify evidence-based recommendations for supporting people with cognitive-communication disorders after TBI
- Explain where to find resources available to support people with TBI with use of social media
- Be aware of evidence-based options for providing communication partner training after TBI
